In conjunction with Child Support Awareness Month, The Portage County Department of Jobs and Family Services has begun accepting money orders and cashier’s checks to pay child support debts. Previously individuals who wished to pay child support in person were only permitted to pay in cash on the third floor of the Portage County Administration Building. Payments made by money order or cashier’s check will be accepted at this same location. The Portage County administration building is at 449 S. Meridian in Ravenna, payments are accepted from 8:00-4:30. Individuals wishing to pay by check may do so by making them payable to Child Support Payment Central and mailing it to: CSPC PO Box 182372 Columbus, OH 43218-2372 |
